Our Volunteers

107.1FM exists in part because of the involvement of our volunteers.  Station volunteers play a vital role in keeping your station on the air, from presenters, to production and from fundraising to office work.  There is a place in your community radio station for everyone regardless of the level of involment or experience you can offer.

Becoming a Volunteer

We actively encourage anyone within the community to get involved and help your local station to provide a valuable and enjoyable experience to your community.  Our members range from the very hands-on to the ones that we only see at AGM's but each one plays a role and without members, sponsors and volunteers there would be no station.

People like Rove McManus made their start in community broadcasting as volunteers.  Not only is volunteering at a community radio station fun but it provides a sense of achievement and could even lead you into your desired career path by providing valuable hands-on experience within the broadcasting industry.
